Suzanne DuCom is a Contemporary Traditional Oil Paint Artist from Oklahoma City. She works from her studio in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Suzanne knew at an early age she wanted to become an artist. Having a mother that was an accomplished artist along with her father owning an art gallery with artwork spanning from the 19th century to the present as well as an extensive personal collection, has caused Suzanne to always be exposed to art.
Suzanne began working in art at an early age. She took classes while in high school and was recognized as an upcoming Young Talent in Oklahoma. She studied art at Southwestern State University as well as the University of Central Oklahoma. As Suzanne developed her skills, she realized her love for working with oil paint and that is where her passion lies. Suzanne’s work has been displayed and sold throughout the U.S. and as far away as France. She has won numerous awards from different shows and judged events.
Suzanne is best known for her colorful landscapes and sunsets. While creating many forms of art, the depiction of the great Southwest has been her focus.
Suzanne has three children and currently resides in Edmond Oklahoma.
